Pathé Cinémas (hereinafter referred to as « We ») wishes to give you, the user (hereinafter « You ») visibility over the processing of your personal data (your «personal data").« Data ») and your rights under the relevant regulations.

The charter in a nutshell :

Pathé is a group of companies involved in the production, distribution and exhibition of films in France and abroad.   
Pathé Cinémas groups together the Pathé companies whose business covers the exhibition of films. Pathé Cinémas is represented by Pathé Cinémas (Société par Actions Simplifiée, R.C.S. Paris 392 962 304) and its subsidiaries.   

The implementation of the offers and services proposed by Pathé Cinémas on the Website involves the following subsidiaries: 

- Pathé Cinémas Services SNC (R.C.S. PARIS 392 706 412) manages the Website, the mobile application and customer relations for cinema services. 

2. Who is responsible for processing? 

The person responsible for processing your Data is Pathé Cinémas Services SNC (R.C.S. PARIS 392 706 412), whose registered office is located at 1, rue Meyerbeer 75009 - Paris. Pathé Cinémas Services belongs to the Pathé Cinémas group of companies.  

3. What types of Data do we collect? 

We offer various services for which we collect different types of information about you or your beneficiaries. We may collect the following Data:   

- Automatically when you access the Website These include your IP address, technical information about your browser and terminal, and Browsing Data. 

- When you subscribe to our room reservation services Your contact details: surname, first name, email address, telephone number, cinema concerned and details of your booking.   

- When you contact our customer service Your personal details: your surname, first name, email address, information about your request and any attachments relating to your request. We keep a record of our exchanges in order to process your request.  

- When you take part in our events and promotions your surname, first name, email address, telephone number and postal address.   

4. Why do we process your Data / for what purposes do we process your Data? 

We use and process your Data for several reasons:  

managing your room reservations ;   
managing your customer service requests;   
customer relationship management and improvement;    
sending personalised information and offers;  
the organisation of promotional operations such as competitions, particularly via social networks; ;  
carrying out statistical studies, in particular to better meet your expectations; ;   
improving the Website and mobile application and your browsing experience.  

We may also store and process your Data for fraud prevention purposes. 

5. Are you obliged to provide us with your Data?  

You are under no legal obligation to provide us with any information about yourself.   

However, we cannot provide you with the requested service if you do not provide the information shown as mandatory on our collection forms.

7. How long will your Data be kept?

We store your Data mainly in the European Union.

11. What measures are taken to guarantee the security of your Data? 

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to guarantee a level of security for your Data appropriate to the risks of loss, unauthorised access, modification, alteration, disclosure or destruction.  

Access to your Data is strictly controlled and reserved for employees of Pathé Cinémas, its subsidiaries and subcontractors.   

In accordance with the regulations in force, Pathé Cinémas implements physical and electronic backup procedures for the Data collected on the Website.   

We draw your attention to the fact that Pathé Cinémas does not control the risks associated with the operation of the Internet and in particular the occurrence of one-off events that may result in the loss of Data or an attack on the confidentiality of Data in transit on the Internet.   

Pathé Cinémas cannot be held responsible in the event of interruption of access to the Website for reasons of force majeure or beyond its control.   

In the event of a breach of the security of your Data, this will be notified to the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés (French Data Protection Authority) and brought to your attention where required by the applicable regulations.

Right of access You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you. This gives you the right to receive a copy of your Data and information about the processing of your Data.  

Right to rectification You have the right to ask us to correct your Data if it is inaccurate or obsolete.   

Right to erasure You have the right to request the deletion of your Data. Please note that your Data may only be deleted when it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which we collected it and we have no other legal basis for processing it.   

Right to object Where we process your Data on the basis of a legitimate interest, you may object to such processing where this is justified by your particular circumstances. In certain cases, we may not accede to your request if we demonstrate that the legitimate interest we are pursuing prevails.   

Right of limitation Limitation of use: you may request that the use of your Data be limited, in particular where the Data is not or is no longer necessary, or where you have contested the accuracy of the Data, until such time as we are able to verify its accuracy.  

Right to portability We will provide you, or a third party chosen by you, with your Data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. Please note that this right only applies to your Data that we process automatically (i) with your consent or (ii) in the performance of a contract with you.   

Fate of data after death In accordance with article 48 of French law no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 relating to data processing, data files and individual liberties (the «Data Processing and Individual Liberties Law»), you have the right to define directives relating to the fate of your data after your death. These directives may be of a general or specific nature and may be modified or revoked at any time.  

In the absence of instructions, or if the instructions do not state otherwise, your heirs will be able to exercise your rights after your death under the conditions set out in article 85 of the French Data Protection Act (Loi Informatique et Libertés).

We will reply as soon as possible, and in any event within one month of receipt of your request, which may be extended by a further month depending on the request.
